The Office of the CEO primarily has a co-ordination function while monitoring legal compliance and looking after marketing and public relations. The Office of the CEO comprises the following sections and services:

1. Legal Services
The department is responsible for ensuring legal compliance and providing legal advice and legal services to the other ECB sections. The Legal Manager also serves as the company secretary to the Board and is responsible for corporate governance matters at the ECB.
2. Corporate Communication
The department is responsible for stakeholder engagement and communication, the branding and marketing of the ECB, and also for the administration of corporate social investment activities of the ECB.
3. Project Management
The Project Management Officer reports directly to the CEO on the progress and implementation of strategic and other projects embarked upon by the ECB.
